Ryan Shoveling

It's been a while since I've posted...so I have a lot of pictures to share!

MINI-VACATION
We took the kids to Kalahari to play at the indoor waterpark. They had so much fun it was difficult to get them to leave. Ryan was thrilled to go down the waterslides. The first time I saw him come down a fairly big one he had a huge grin plastered across his face. Unfortunately I did not have enough nerve to try to keep track of my camera and keep it dry so I don't have pictures of that.

Ryan and Alyssa lounging in our room.

Alyssa really likes to carry my purse right now.

WINTER
The snow has been falling and both kids finally have snow pants. They really enjoy playing in the snow...too bad dressing them for the snow is a real pain!

Daddy took the kids out on Saturday and they made a snow man

I felt especially brave last week and got the kids dressed to play outside with me. It took a long time; I would get one piece of clothing on one kid to turn around and find the other one had taken something off...we eventually got everyone dressed.

AMERICAN FAMILY HOLIDAY PARTY
John and my dad (Papa) took the kids to the American Family Holiday party on their own. They did not do things the way I would have (made things a little hard on themselves) but they survived and the kids had fun.

Halloween

We went trick-or-treating with Sophia (care bear) & Bella (princess) again this year. The weather was really warm and the kids had a blast. Ryan was a transformer and Alyssa was a ladybug.

Ryan playing 3 vs. 3 soccer. The team is three and four year olds. They do not play with a goalie...not that score is kept but there are surprisingly few goals scored.

Alyssa spent a good 15 minutes deciding how she should wear a maternity shirt that she found. She attempted many different ways...here are a few of the attempts.

Mom & Dad's 60th Birthday Dinner

Happy 60th Birthday, Mom (a little early) and Dad (a little late)!!! We were fortunate to have a number of family members travel to join us for a lovely dinner at The Restaurant Magnus. We all had a really nice time enjoying the company and the really good food. Here are a few pictures that I have...if people give me some more good ones I'll add them.
